Zina B. (Bartell) Colvin

Zina B. (Bartell) Colvin, 50, of Syracuse, passed quietly at home on Monday. She was a graduate of Corcoran High School. Zina worked as a Pharmaceutical Technician at Rite Aid Pharmacy in the Valley. She enjoyed decorating the house for Christmas and especially Halloween. Zina had a green thumb and enjoyed her house plants and her fur babies. Mostly, she enjoyed spending time with her fiancé, children and grandchildren.

Zina was predeceased by her parents, John T. and Theresa M. (Carista) Bartell.

She is survived by her fiancé, Edward Wyss; four children, Joshua M. Bartell, Diamond L. (Damon) and James J. (Savanah) McAllister and Evan E. Colvin; grandchildren, Alyssa, Daquan, Aubrey and Samaya May; sister, Theresa M. (James) Morgan and brother, John T. (Pamela) Bartell and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, September 10th 5-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with a service to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the CNYSPCA.
