Yolanda (Yoli) Donado Nandin, 93 of Liverpool, NY, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 peacefully in the arms of her son Robert. She was born on June 11, 1927 in Barranquilla, Colombia. She married Joseph "Joe/Pepe" on Aug. 6, 1954. They raised their three children Robert, Richard and Silvana in Bayside New York.
Yolanda was predeceased by her husband Joe and their son Richard.
Surviving Yolanda is her Brother Antonio, her children Robert (Marilyn), Silvana & Toni, their five grandchildren, Matthew (Lindsay), Keith, Morgan (Lex), Phillip (Khrystina), and Kara, great- grandchildren Harper, Avery, Lyla and Ella.
Prior to living in Liverpool, Yolanda spent many years in Lido Key, FL and Bayside, NY. She graduated Mary Mount College where she studied Business and was nick named "sure shot". She loved to cook, play Bridge, music and flowers. Yoli, especially enjoyed creating floral centerpieces for the community/party room of St. Armand's Towers North.
Yolanda's children can attest to the fact that she had "the patience of a saint" and never lost her temper with them or even raised her voice (only with her father-in-law). Always supportive and encouraging her children, always wise and kind, she was so proud of them. She had open arms & home to her family and friends.
Visitation is from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 23rd at New Comer in North Syracuse, NY
Burial will be Sarasota, FL- The Sarasota Veterans Cemetery
