Wyona M. "Penny" Carey, 52, of Syracuse, passed away on Wednesday. Penny enjoyed fishing and sitting out on the porch with her neighbors. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Penny was predeceased by her parents, Larry Vroman and Amanda Bishop.
She is survived by her daughter, Paula Balliet; son, Albert (Alyson) Balliet; grandchildren, Alex, Joey, Jordan, Christina and Elena; six siblings, Thomas (Tracy) Babb, Terry Babb, Ronald (Rosie) Babb, David Babb, Michael Babb and Paula Purcell and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Wednesday 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse with a service to follow at 7PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
