Winifred "Winnie" Melton, 88 of Chittenango, NY, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 30th with her loving family by her side. She was born on September, 13th 1933 to the late Floyd and Ruth Cutter.
She worked at Bristol Labs, Dey Brothers and several years of providing child care. She enjoyed spending many summers camping at Brennan Beach with her loving husband of 54 years, Basil "Mel" Melton.
She is survived by her children, Brenda (Russell) McCarty, Cheryl (Jim) Taylor and Lorraine (Joe) Hollenberger; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Jim Cutter and many nieces and a nephew.
Predeceased by her husband, Basil Melton; daughters, Cynthia Gault and Dawn Gault; siblings, Florence Knapp and Suzanne Wich.
Burial will take place in the spring.
