Willis E. Clement, III, 86, of Mattydale passed away on Saturday at his home, surrounded by his loving wife of 60 years, Gladys. He was born in Syracuse and served in the US Navy in which he was aboard the USS Missouri during the Korean Conflict. Willis worked at GE for almost 40 years, he was assistant Boy Scout Leader for Troop #607 and was very active at St. Margaret's Church, Mattydale. Willis was also very active at the Past Time Club and various other organizations.
Surviving are his wife, Gladys, son Mike Clement, daughter Debbi (Bruce) Cutter, 4 grandchildren; Andrew, Brandon, Tyler & Ashley, great grandson, Joseph, along with 2 sisters, Dorothy Daggett & Diane DePaolis.
There are no services per the wishes of Willis.
Donations may be made to the Humane Society or to the Mattydale Fire Dept.
