Willie J. Smith Jr.

Willie J. Smith Jr., 55, of Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly in his home on March 23, 2022. Willie was born in Syracuse, New York on November 9, 1966 to Sheila and Willie Smith, Sr. Willie was a hard worker at the Green Skyline Apartments, where he was the maintenance worker. In his free time, he enjoyed watching and attending NASCAR racing, listening to rock and roll music, fishing, and cooking on the grill. He was loved by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by parents Sheila and Willie Smith, Sr.; three sisters, Tina, Sheila, and Deana.

He is survived by his two sons, Kevan (Malaysia), Vontae (Bryonna); four daughters, Andrea (Anthony), Sheila (Matt), Nikki (Tute), Nettie (TK); two sisters, JoAnn, Stacey; three brothers, James, Scott, Randolph (Sarah); 19 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022 from 5-7PM. Funeral services will be the following morning at 9:00AM. Burial will be made in Onondaga Valley Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Willie's memory may be made to https://www.kidney.org/donation.
