William Wayno

William A. Wayno, 68, of Hastings, passed away on October 3rd, 2024, after a brief illness. William was born in Riverside, California on November 6, 1955 to William and Josephine Wayno. He graduated from Paul V. Moore High School in the graduating class of 1974. In his free time he enjoyed fishing on any lake he could find with his closest friends, Joe, Doug, Patrick and John. William was always trying to find and catch the biggest fish he could find. One of his passions was the art of music, specifically Rock and Roll, one artist he appreciated most was Rick Derringer. With his passion and love for the genre, he performed in bands, and his choice of instrument was the guitar and his voice. He was preceded in death by his father, William D. Wayno; his mother, Josephine T. Wayno. 

He is survived by his sister, Margaret DeWispelare; his brother-in-law, Daniel D. DeWispelare; his niece, Morgan (Adam Revoir) DeWispelare; and his nephew, Daniel A. DeWispelare. With special thanks to Danielle LaMay, for always being a rock for this family when we needed her most. To Terry Anelli, for being with the family in our time of need.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to offset funeral cost.

Family and friends may call on October 11, 2024 from 4pm to 6pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals in North Syracuse. A Memorial Service will follow at 6pm.
