William W. Richardson, 72 of N. Syracuse died Monday at home. A lifelong resident of the Syracuse area, he was the son of the late Gene and Dorothy Wedmore Richardson. Bill retired from Carrier in 2000 following 43 years of service as a set-up man. A prankster, he always enjoyed a good joke. He was predeceased by his wife Linda in 2004.
Surviving are his son; Jay (Kristine) Richardson of Cape Coral, Fl., a step-son; Michael (Karyn) Trask of Phoenix, NY, a step-daughter; Andrea Trask of Syracuse, a sister; Jacqueline Porter of Long Lake, NY, and six grandchildren.
Services will be 11:00 am Friday at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St,. N. Syracuse. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY.
