William W. "Bill" Church, 77, of Syracuse, passed away on Friday at Crouse Hospital after a long illness. He was born November 21, 1933 in Syracuse the son of Douglas and Violet Smith Church. He first married Joyce Ann Spicer then he later married Marie I. Church. He was employed at Meloon Foundaries in Syracuse retiring in 1999. He was an avid wood worker.
Surviving are two daughters, Jodie Anne (Raynel) Sagor, Mattydale, Cherielee (Kenneth) Brown, Baldwinsville, a son , Bryane Church, Liverpool, 4 grandchildren, Stephanie Smith, Shannon Martin, Trevor and Tyler Church.
He was predeceased by a son, William Douglas Church in 1974. William's family would like to thank the James Square Nursing Home D Floor and the staff at Crouse Hospital for the special care given to William.
Services will be private. There are no calling hours.
