William J. Stonecipher Sr.

William J. Stonecipher Sr., 84 of East Syracuse, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 23, 2024. Born on August 5, 1939 in Syracuse, NY to the late Jesse Ray and Linda Eva (Voiles) Stonecipher.
William worked for the Onondaga County Sheriff's Department for 30 years, plus he was a court officer for an additional 10 years.
William is survived by his three children; Sandy (Sean) Webb, Wendy (Danny) Ho, Pastor Jeffrey (Shelby) Stonecipher; one stepson, Kirk Golden and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pedeceased by his wife, Carolyn and son William Stonecipher Jr.; stepson, Keith Golden; three sisters, Ruby, Mabel and Amie Marie; three brothers, Ray Jr., Robert, Richard; his father, Jesse Ray and mother, Linda Eva (Voiles) Stonecipher.
There will be no calling hours.
A celebration of his life will be on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 1-3pm at Destiny Christian Center, 514 Turtle Street, Syracuse, NY 13208.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to his home church, Destiny Christian Center.
