William P. Jackson "Pappy", 79, of Liverpool, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital.
He worked at Greyhound for 30 years and Overhead Door Co. for 15 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, wood working, cooking, hunting and his camp, where he loved fishing.
He is predeceased by his daughter, Denise I. Grassman; brothers, James, Milton and Robert Jackson.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joanne Jackson; a son, William Russ (Theresa) Jackson, a daughter, Debora A. (David) Ward; five Grandchildren; Jennifer (Thomas) McMorrow, Christopher Grassman, Paul (Katelyn) Jackson, Sarah Jackson and Tiffany (Darrell) Bohatec; Five Great Grandchildren, Jacob Grassman, Patrick McMorrow and Daniel McMorrow, Zachary Bohatec and Aly Bohatec; a sister, Sally Gallucci; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours will be Wednesday from 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
Services will be Thursday 10 AM At St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will follow at North Syracuse Cemetery.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Rose of Lima Church.
