My sunrise began August 28, 1945; my sunset was on November 6, 2005 after a long illness. I was preceded in death by my father and mother, Florence and Henry Nellons, and my brother Carl L. Nellons. I was born in Brooklyn, NY and went to school in Syracuse, NY; I work for the YMCA for 26 years. I leave behind my daughter Monica Knight, and granddaughter Euphoria Dobbs, as well as nine sisters and four brothers, whom are Helene Nellons, Carrie E. Nellons-Maxey, Henrietta Curry, Theresa McBride (Eugene), Jamey Nellons (Victoria), Dan Nellons (Debra) all from Syracuse, NY, Edith Patterson Oceanside CA, Henry Nellons (Arlene) from Sewell NJ, Charlene Key, Danella Young from Philadelphia Pa, Karen Nellons-Dotson, Jeana Nellons, Mark Nellons (Robin) all from Houston TX, along with a host of aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and all of my friends. I must say farewell for we shall meet again. Services will be held on Saturday 11 AM at the Greater New testament Missionary Baptist Church, 1121 South Salina Street, Syracuse.
