William E. "Bill" Mueller, age 77 of N. Syracuse, NY passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021 with his wife by his side. Bill was born in Buffalo, NY to the late Edward and Elena Mueller.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Valerie; brother, Tom; son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Bonnie; and daughter, Lisa.
Bill was a 1960 graduate of Bishop Timon High School, then went on to ECTI to earn his Associates Degree in 1962. He served in the National Guard then joined the Army Reserves in Syracuse serving in the 376TH and 1209th, retiring as a Major.
Bill retired from Niagara Mohawk with 28 years in 2002 and was a member of the NM 25 Year Club. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating. He was a loving and supportive husband and friend.
Valerie would like to thank Upstate Hospital and all the people who took care of Bill through all his issues with Parkinson's. They are truly wonderful and will always be remembered. She would also like to thank the Highland Patient Transport for the way they cared for Bill when he needed their services. Valerie would also like to extend her appreciation for all the help and kindness she received from Hospice of CNY.
Donations in Bill's memory may be made to a charity of your choice. Bill will be laid to rest in N. Syracuse Cemetery, N. Syracuse, NY at the convenience of the family.
