William A. Meier, 75, of Syracuse, passed away at home on December 3, 2021.
William was born in Syracuse, New York on December 6, 1945 to the late Eugene and Martha Meier.
A proud Vietnam War Veteran, Billy retired from Schilling Forge after 36 years of dedicated work. An avid fisherman, he also enjoyed spending time at ESTA Speedway, riding his Harley, visiting local fish fries and diners. Most of all loved to spend time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his Wife, Brenda Meier and Brother, Gene Meier.
He is survived by his Sons, Steven (Audra) Meier, Scott Meier; Two Sisters, Dottie Schilling, Barbara (Ed) Yamin; Seven grandchildren, Daniel, Ryan, Charles, Jazmin, Caleb, Jacob and Elizabeth.
Visitation will take place on Saturday December 11, 2021 from 1-4 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse with a service to follow at 4 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the VA Medical Center.
