Bill Marcely left this world unexpectedly August 24th 2021 in a place where he found so much peace and joy—camp Hillbilly Haven. There simply aren't enough words to accurately express his humble heart and kind spirit. To know this man is to know the true meaning of unconditional love. He had a way about him that was undeniably captivating, whether you knew him for many years or only a few minutes he impacted your soul infinitely. He lived by the motto 'say what you mean, mean what you say' and the Golden Rule. As he's said before, life is about living, loving, and being loved.
His priorities in life centered around being an honest and giving man. He strived to be the best husband, son, father and friend he could be and succeeded. He enjoyed the simple things in life such as nature, campfires, hunting, racing and gardening. He had a unique green thumb that could bring a dead plant back to life in a matter of days. While he was busy planting seeds in the ground, he was simultaneously planting seeds in the hearts of those he loved. Everything that Bill touched he managed to turn to gold and flourish. Bill is deeply missed by his loved ones and will forever live on within all of us.
He was predeceased by his father, William G. Marcely in 1994.
