William S. Lesko
March 17, 1930 — October 24, 2021
William S. Lesko, 91, of Canastota, NY, passed away on October 24, 2021. Born in Homeville, PA, the son of Joseph and Julia Lesko. William "Bill" was a proud disabled Navy veteran.
He was stationed at the U.S. Naval Amphibious Base, Little Creek, Norfolk, VA and U.S. Navy Station Argentina, Newfoundland. Bill retired from Cummins Diesel.
He is predeceased by his loving wife of 61 years, Loretta (Griessel).
He is survived by his children, Karen Fischer, Steven Lesko, Maureen (Peter) Seguin and Michael (Karen) Lesko; grandchildren, Jennifer Fischer (Brian Lukowski), Jessica (Josh) Carloni, Jason (Erin) Lesko, Michelle (Chad) Phinney, Allison (Erick) Salisbury, Sullivan and Gabriel Lesko; great-grandchildren, Dylan Carloni, Diana Sugrue, Mikayla and Chloe Phinney, Kyra and Dominick Salisbury.
There are no calling hours. Entombment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery on Thursday, October 28th, 2021 at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Rose of Lima Food Pantry.
