William L. McFaddin, 72, of North Syracuse, passed away on Thursday after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family.
William was born in Malone, NY, son of James and Pearl LaFayette McFaddin. He graduated from St. Joseph's Academy in 1955, then moved to Syracuse where he worked for many years in the construction business. He retired in 2001 from Fisher Construction and spent some of his time in Jupiter, FL with his son, Cole and family. He was preceded in death by his son, Cole on December 17, 2009.
Surviving is his wife of 49 years, Noreen Cooley McFaddin; daughter, Jill (Bob) Hampsey; son Marty; daughter in law, Melissa McFaddin; grandsons, Cole Jr., Cory and Billy; sister, Janice Siek; brother, Jim McFaddin; a special niece, Marcy McMahon; great niece Jessie Neal Pompa ; great great niece, Hope Noreen; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be Tuesday, 10:30 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church. Calling hours will be Monday from 4-8 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
