William M. Kaufman

William M. Kaufman, 66, of Brewerton, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday after many years of defying the odds.
He had a passion for life and his family, always putting everyone else's needs before his own. William loved being creative which led him to a career as a master carpenter. With an affinity for antiques, he was an avid treasure hunter.
William was predeceased by his mother, Pat Garn; father, William Kaufman and his step-father, Bill Garn.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Gerry Kaufman; children, Billy (Maryam) Kaufman and Krissy (Chris) Barnes; grandchildren, Stanley, Tatum, Charley, Nataley, Levon, Bradley and one granddaughter on the way; sisters, Peggy (Cliff Reed) Carroll and Susie (Kevin Fitzpatrick) Higgins; several nephews and two best friends, Mark (Sandy) Barone and Mike Pullmain.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 11th 12:30pm-1:30pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals with a memorial service to follow at 1:30pm.
