William John Mann, 89, of Baldwinsville, NY passed away peacefully on October 5, 2015. Bill was born on November 9, 1925, in Syracuse, NY and worked at Crucible. Son of William and Metta (Johnson) Mann from Lyncourt. He served in the infantry during World War II in the U.S. Army and fought in combat in Alsace, France in 1945. Bill is survived by his devoted wife of 16 years, Jean (Kwasigroch) Mann and family. He was the beloved father of Ann Marie August, Denise (Ron) Cramer, William M. (Chris) Mann, Jeffrey (Christina) Mann, Brian Mann; loving grandfather of 5 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Also surviving are Bill's sister, Irene Uva and brothers Oscar and Martin Mann. He was predeceased by his brother, Walter Mann and sisters, Louise, Frieda, Evelyn, Dorothy.
Services will be held at Pope John XXIII Church in Liverpool, NY on Friday, October 9 at 10:30 am.
