William J. "Bill" Mott, Jr., 59, of Chittenango, passed away on Monday at home. He was born on December 5, 1953 in Syracuse, son of William J. Mott, Sr. & Roberta Mott. He last worked at Loretto Nursing Home as a LPN. He was an avid biker, loved helping friends and family. Bill was known for his great compassion and honesty.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia Burdick-Mott, 2 sons; Benjamin, Justin (Tina) Mott, step daughter, Suzanne Bresett, step son, granddaughter, Mari Ella, 2 sisters; Barbara Jean Heuschneider, Brenda (Jim) Craner, 4 nephews and 3 nieces.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 11-1pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main, N. Syracuse. Graveside services will be held at Pine Plains Cemetery, Manlius.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
Bill's family would like to thank Hospice of CNY for their excellent care.
