William J. "Bill" Egan, 59 of Phoenix, died October 27, 2014 after a brave battle with cancer.
Bill was the son of Richard and Betty Egan of Syracuse. He was predeceased by his father and survived by his mother Betty, his sister Pamela Perisho and brother Richard Egan.
Bill is also survived by his wife Shirlee Egan; two sons Nicholas Egan of Charleston, SC and Jason Lamanna of Raleigh, NC; a daughter Shannon Assad of Charlotte, NC; four grandchildren, Sophia, Sierra, Noah and Harper.
Bill loved golf and fishing and was a skilled woodworker who shared his talents with many. He was forever generous, delighted in his family, children, and grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm followed by a service on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at New Comer funeral home, 705 N. Main Street, North Syracuse, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks those who wish to make a contribution in Bill's memory to Hospice of CNY.
