William J. Button, 77, of East Syracuse, passed away peacefully Sunday at home with his family by his side.
William was retired from WSYR-TV and was a Korean War Veteran serving in the U.S Navy.
William is survived by his wife, Marilyn; three sons, Tim and Tom of E. Syracuse and William J. Jr., of MA; two grandchildren, William IV (Johnny) and Erika; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday 9 a.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St, N. Syracuse. Burial will follow in the Veteran's Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Bill's family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the VA Medical Center, Dignity Plus and Hospice of CNY.
