William J. Hackenfort Jr.
August 20, 1927 — May 31, 2019
William J. Hackenfort Jr. of Cicero, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side. He was born in NYC on August 20, 1927 to the late William Sr. and Dorothy Hackenfort.
He served with the Marine Corps during WWII. He was a NYS Trooper for 23 years and worked for Niagara Mohawk for 11 years.
William is survived by his children, Kevin (Kimberly), Kim, Karen Stannard and Kris (Karen); 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and a brother, Robert of Alabama.
He was predeceased by his wife, Nancy in 2005.
Calling hours will take place at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse on Wednesday, June 5th from 4-8 pm.
There will be a private interment at a later date.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at The Cottages for the loving care that they provided for our Dad.
