William G. "Bill" Parker, 91 of Syracuse, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family after a long illness. He was born on November 29, 1923 in Syracuse, son of the late Warren and Jennie Parker. He served in the US Army during WW II and retired from Borden's Food Co. Bill enjoyed traveling, gardening and was an avid SU Fan. He was predeceased by his wife Suzanne and his granddaughter, Jillian.

Surviving are 4 sons: William M. (Mary Kay) Parker, Seattle, WA, John (Kathy) Parker, Stephen & James Parker, all of Syracuse, 1 sister, Mary Sheldon, 9 grandchildren: Scott, Amanda, Erin, John, Lindsay, Amy, Matthew, Alyssa & Erica, along with 6 great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Services will be held on Thursday 10am at the funeral home followed by burial at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Marcellus.

Contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY.
