William "Bob" Egan, 89, of Syracuse, peacefully passed away on March 17, 2024.
Bob was born in Syracuse, New York on May 22, 1934 to the late William and Margaret Egan.
A U.S. Air Force Veteran, Bob later worked and retired from Crucible Specialty Metals after 35 years as a millwright. After retiring he devoted himself to his grandchildren as well as others through volunteer work. He also devoted his time to organizations such as St. Camillus Nursing Home, Meals on Wheels and Community Hospital. His selflessness and compassion touched the lives of many. In addition to this, Bob cherished spending time with his daughter and two grandchildren. He created countless memories filled with laughter and joy and took great pride in watching his grandchildren grow. He leaves a legacy behind of love, hard work and many cherished moments that are treasured by all who knew him.
Bob is now reunited with the love of his life, Stella. He is also predeceased by his Parents and his Son, Craig Egan.
He is survived by his Daughter, Kelly (Robert) Cirabisi; Two grandchildren, Stephanie (Jon) Campagna, Nicholas Campagna; Brother, Richard (Betty) Egan.
Visitation will take place on Monday March 25th from 5-7 PM with a service at 7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. Burial will be private.
