William E. Kalin Sr., 87, of Cicero passed away Friday at home. Bill was a member of the South Bay Fire Dept., the South Shore Association and the Cicero Senior Center. He worked at Crouse Hinds for 37 years in the Shipping Department. He is pre-deceased by his son Bill Kalin Jr. who passed in 2004.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Shirley, his children; Augie (Gil) Kalin, David (Bonnie) Kalin, Sandra (Leroy) Danieu, Linda (Al) Kerr and Chery (Pat) Bergin, brother; Fred (Jeanne) Kalin, sisters; Anne Baldwin and Dorothy Feeley, 18 grand-children and 25 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at 6:30 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, North Syracuse. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the funeral home, 705 N. Main Street.
Contributions may be made to the South Bay Fire Dept. Bldg. Fund, Cicero Senior Center or Hospice of CNY.
