William P. Cotterill

William P. "Bill"Cotterill, 85, of Manlius, passed away on Sunday March 19, 2023 at Loretto Nursing Home after a short illness surrounded by family. Bill was born in Rochester, NY on October 25, 1937 son of the late William and Eleanor Cotterill. Bill served in the US Army at Walter Reed Medical Center. He retired from Bishop Grimes and Jamesville-DeWitt High School. He made lifelong friends at St. Andrews on Alden Street. Later Bill and his wife Dee became music ministers at Loretto, which was their spiritual home. Bill was always ready with a song to brighten your day.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Cotterill, daughter, Brigid Cotterill, granddaughter, Jasmine Gilfilian, grandson, Declan Goff, brother, Thomas (Sharon) Cotterill, sister, Joan Rogers, many nieces & nephews, 4 sisters-in-law, Carol Cotterill, Jo Blide, Toni (Charles) Blide, Cathy (Edward) Jadoski and brother-in-law John Barbito.

He was predeceased by his sister-in-law Angelia Barbito.

Services will be private.
