William Brown

William "Jerry" Brown, 79, of Cicero, passed away peacefully on Sunday. Jerry served in the US Air Force for 4 years. He retired from Carrier after 35 years of service then later retired from Birnie Bus Company. Jerry enjoyed bowling, crossword puzzles and he was an avid Red Sox fan. Jerry was a loving and involved father and grandfather.

Jerry was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Carol and a daughter, Janeen Wilson.

He is survived by his 5 children; Joy (Mike) Collins, Judie (David) Glenn, Jerry "JD" Brown, Jill Brown and Jeff (Robin) Brown; 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Connie Springs and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Thursday, June 1st 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. Burial will take place on Saturday at 10AM in North Syracuse Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family of Carol and Jerry Brown.
