William (Bill) Herholtz, 63, of Fulton, NY, passed away suddenly at his home on June 24, 2016.
William is survived by his four children, Jared Herholtz, Shane (Daniel) Herholtz, Jillian (Sean) Herholtz, Sarah (Dan) Herholtz; his grandchildren, Owen, Ashton, Evan, Audrey, Harlee and Davis; his Mother, Annamae Herholtz; sisters, Carol (Severin) Gonnella and Marlene (Noah) Ullman; and his Partner of five years, Tracy Ryan.
He was predeceased by his father, Robert L. Herholtz and his brother, Thomas L. (Joanne) Herholtz.
Bill was an accomplished musician, playing the guitar, violin, ukulele, harmonica, and keyboard. He led several local Bands throughout the years and taught song writing and publishing at Philadelphia Christian and Syracuse Christian Writers Conferences.
Campfires were always extra special with Bill playing his guitar and singing. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a telephone system technician for The State of NY.
Bill was an avid reader, enjoyed riding his bicycle, and loved spending time at his camp on Fish Creek/Oneida Lake with his Children, Grandchildren, Family & Friends.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main Street, North Syracuse, NY 13212. Services will follow at 7PM at the funeral home.
