William S. Benedict, Sr.
August 5, 1946 — December 18, 2018
William S. "Bill" Benedict, 72, of Hastings, went home to be with the lord on December 18, 2018.
He was a 1966 graduate of Chittenango High School. Bill was an avid trap shooter with the North Sportsman's Club. He loved duck and deer hunting. He was a lifetime member of the NRA.
He was preceded in death by Brother, Joseph Benedict, Sr. and Sister, Barbara Burke.
He is survived by his Sons, William (Laura Ann) Benedict Jr. and James Benedict; Grandchildren, Brandon Benedict, Cheyenne Benedict; Step-Grandchildren, David Marr III, Valerie Marr and Lauren Marr; Brother, Dick Benedict; Sister, Anne Bradshaw; Beloved friend, Linda Snow.
Visitation will take place Thursday, 4-7 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. A service will follow at 7 PM.
