William "Bill" Beckman, of Liverpool, passed away on Thursday at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 5, 1944 in Rochester son of the late Charles & Dorothy Beckman. William started working at the age of 15 at his uncle's hot dog stand. He was a proud Navy Veteran who was stationed in Washington, DC and served in the Vietnam War. He worked at several places including Kodak, Crouse Hinds, GE, Carrier Corp. and for Coach USA. He was last employed at Birnie Bus until his retirement. One of his greatest enjoyments was watching Game Shows with his wife and daughter. Bill was a Buffalo Bills, Redsox and SU Sports Fan. He was also an Eagle Scout.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Lois, his daughter Sarah, who he adored more than anything, niece Nikki, along with his two canine buddies, Titan and Sally. He was predeceased by his sister Ellen.
There will be no calling hours or services. Donations may be made to Shriners Childrens Hospital.
