William A. Foulkrod November 18, 2011 William "Bill" Foulkrod, 66, of Liverpool, went to be with the Lord on Friday. Born in Rochester, Bill was an alumnus of Cornell University, the University of Pittsburgh and Syracuse University. He was a lifelong educator and taught science at Liverpool High School for over 30 years. He was also an adjunct instructor for Syracuse University's School of Forestry.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Helen; his children, Dan, Stephen, Michael, Tom, Patricia Lofink (Bruce), Virginia, Becky Warner and Suzanne Gorzka (Mark); his beloved grandchildren Hanna, Rylee and Madelynn Gorzka, and Benjamin Lofink; his brother, Jim (Carol); sister Judy Cannioto; and several nieces and nephews.
Bill was grateful to Dr. Olga Kligerman, Mary LaRusso and all the supportive staff of Hematology of CNY who provided him with loving comfort and care.
Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main Street, North Syracuse. There will be a Christian memorial service at Liverpool Community Church, 800 4th Street in Liverpool on Tuesday at 11 a.m.
