William Frederick Passineau
William Frederick Passineau, age 66, lived in Syracuse, New York passed away on February 6, 2013 at 12:20 pm in the V.A. Hospital from a short battle of cancer. He was was born on October 4, 1946 in Montreal Quebec. His parents names were Elmer J. Passineau and Mary B. Passineau (Henderson). He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and fought in the Veitnam war from September 1964 to September 1969. He was taxi cab driver in the Syracuse Area for over 20 years. Besides living in Syracuse, New York he was also grew up in Plattsburg, New York and Watertown, New York. Was a long time fan of the Syracuse University Orange Basketball, Syracuse Orange Football, Chicago Cubs, and Chicago Bears. He was a lifetime member of the Salvation Army.
He is survived by his daughter Jennifer L. Schermerhorn (Passineau) of South Bend, Indiana and Phoenix, New York; his son-in-law Brian R. Schermerhorn of South Bend, Indiana and Phoenix, New York and his son William F. Passinau II of Syracuse, NY. His grandchildren: MaKayla N. Lockwood of South Bend, Indiana and Phoenix, New York; Jeremy J. Conti of Jamesville, New York, and Alexander L. Schermerhorn of South Bend, Indiana and Phoenix, NY. His brothers: Robert J. Passineau of Syracuse, New York, Graylynn B. Passineau of Pittsfield, New York, Frederick C. Henderson of Ormond Beach, Florida, and James F. Passineau of Syracuse, New York. Also surviving are many neices, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by his Parents Elmer J. Passineau who passed away in 1981 and Mary B. Passineau (Henderson) who passed away in 1996, and his wife Sandra L. Passineau (Petersen) who passed away in 2007.
A Memorial Service will be held in the early summer.
