Werner E. Salle

Werner E. Salle, 88, of Bridgeport, passed away on Monday.
He was born on February 4, 1926 in Vreden, Germany. Werner served in the US Army during WW II and was founder of the W.E. Salle Company, Inc. He was known locally here for doing business as Brown Carbonic Sales Co.
Werner lived his early years in Wilmington, DE. He then moved to Columbia Crossroads, PA and then moved to the Syracuse Area. He was predeceased by his wife June in 2010.
Surviving are his daughter, Michelle (Glenn) Mickley, Gillett, PA, 4 sons: Don (Patrice), Richmond, VA, David, Utica, Neal (Mary), Troy, PA & Roger (Laurie), Cicero, his sister, Hilda McDaniel of Hockessen, DE, 13 grandchildren & 20 great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with sharing of memories at 7pm.
