Wendy Corl-Koch, 47 of Syracuse, went into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday with family surrounding her bedside.
Born on November 19, 1971 to Terry (Ida) Corl and Gail (Bob) Simone.
She was a social butterfly, loved people and pets. Wendy suffered from a brain tumor 40 years ago and was met with tremendous life challenges. She was a fighter, strong willed and loved games and music.
She is survived by her parents; her loving husband of 6 years, Aaron Koch; In-laws, Peter and Grace Koch; siblings, Randy (Lisa) Corl Sr. and Chris Corl; brothers-in-law, Adrian and Jason Koch; nieces and nephews: Randy Jr., Luke, Dayton, Gabe, Marylyn, Lizzy, Joey, Noah, Jolie, Ian, Matthew and Rachel plus many aunts, uncles, cousins and great-nephews.
She was predeceased by her grandparents and her loving guide dog, Tessa.
Calling hours will take place at Believers Chapel, 7912 Thompson Road, Cicero, NY on Monday, September 30th from 9am-12noon. Funeral Service will follow at 12noon. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery, Homer, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Seeing Eye, 10 Washington Valley Road, Morristown, NJ 07960, www.seeingeye.org.
