Wendy A. Moon, 43, of East Syracuse passed away on Saturday surrounded by her family after a courageous two year battle with cancer.
Wendy had a day care in her home for several years. The center of Wendy's world was her 4 children and her extended day care families. Wendy's favorite holiday was Christmas, she enjoyed camping, scrap booking, going to the casino and going to the movies.
Surviving are her husband, Bernard Moon, 2 daughters, Ashley & Megan, 2 sons, Dalton & Michael, parents, Bonnie Loomis, Vernon Stevens, brother, Eric Stevens, half brother, Mark Babylon, step brother, Eric Loomis & step sister, Jessica Loomis, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-6pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, with services to immediately follow.
A special thanks to the staff at Brittonfield , the staff at 4 South at Crouse Hospital and Hospice of Oswego County, for their care to Wendy and her family.
Contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Oswego County Hospice and Brittonfield.
