Wendell Cole, 80, of Bridgeport won his angel wings with his wife by his side on March 2, 2023. He was born to the late Fenner and Olga Cole in Syracuse, NY on October 7, 1942.
Wendell served 6 years in the US Navy during the Cuban Crisis. He went on to work at Carrier for 41 years, then Gander Mountain for 3 years, and Lockheed Martin for 3 years. He was a hardworking man and loyal to everyone in his life. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Wendell was proud of his family, loved his wife, children and especially his grandchildren. He also adored his cat, Chole.
He was predeceased by his Parents, Fenner and Olga Cole; Brother, Wayne Cole.
Wendell is survived by his Wife of 62 years, Jacqueline (Knickerbocker) Cole; Daughters, Shiela (Phillip) Alessandrello-Dimkos, Annmarie (Donald) Cook, Karen (Charles) Weiland, Sherri (Marlin) Hill; and Several Grandchildren that he adored.
Per Wendell's wishes services will be private.
