Wayne H. Walker, 61, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by his wife and five daughters. Born in Syracuse, Wayne was a very gifted tile setter for 43 years. Outside of being with his family, his passion was classic cars and Las Vegas Vacations. He is predeceased by his mother, Marion Walker.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Patricia; daughters, Tammy (Daniel) Huntley, Shannon Walker, Carrie (Jason) Ricci, Nicole (Michael) Hastings and Chelsea Walker; nine grandchildren; his father, Ralph Walker; sister, Stephanie (Louis) Masson; brothers, Ralph (Anita) Walker Jr. and Greg (Stephanie) Walker.
Wayne was a very devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was God's gift to his family and will be missed dearly.
Services will be Wednesday, 7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Calling Hours will be Wednesday from 4-7 PM, at New Comer Funeral Home, before services.
Contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY or the American Cancer Society.
