Wayne Louis Pinter passed away peacefully, at home in Solvay, on Friday March 25, 2022 after a brief illness.
Wayne was born in East Brunswick, NJ on January 6th 1945.
After his high school graduation, Wayne became employed with Chase Bank in New York City in the cashiering dept. After a number of years at Chase, Wayne became a sales manager associate with both Smith/Barney and Dean Whitter in Florida and Illinois, until his retirement.
Wayne was recently employed at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Syracuse, in the Food and Beverage Dept., which he enjoyed very much. Wayne had a great work ethic and was well respected by his coworkers. Wayne was a collector of Marilyn Monroe photographs and portraits. He also loved to browse any thrift store in the area that he lived. Wayne loved a "bargain."
Wayne married his wife, the former Sandra Delaney, in June of 1966. Sandra passed away, after 48 years of marriage, in 2014.
Wayne leaves behind his daughter, Melissa Lanoue of Guyton, GA and his partner of four years, DeWitt Brewer of Solvay, NY.
Burial will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery in the summer of 2022.
