Wayne David Losito, born on September 16, 1964, in Syracuse, New York, passed away on April 21, 2025 peacefully with his "Island" at his side. Wayne was a remarkable man, known for his exceptional skills as a roofer and posessing a unique talent for selling dirt. He navigated life with a personality that was blunt, honest, and strong-willed, unapologetically wearing his heart on his sleeve. Wayne was selfless and dedicated, devoting his life to his children and grandchildren that he loved way more than anybody else.
Wayne David Losito will be remembered for his unwavering love for family, his indomitable spirit, and his profound impact on those fortunate enough to have known him.
Coming second only to the love of his children and grandchildren was his passion for bow hunting. Wayne had many other interests including singing, watching football, fishing, and immersing himself in the pages of Lewis L'Amour novels. Whether he was outdoors finding peace in the woods or simply enjoying a story, his passions brought him much happiness.
Wayne is survived by his beloved children, Anthony W. Losito, Tayler L. (Chris) Losito, Cole V. (Alexis) Losito, and Tyler M. (Jayden) Crandall. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren, Rosalee, Paul, Ellie, Val, Elara, and Hank. He is also lovingly remembered by his siblings, Loren (Joanne) Losito, Clark Losito, and Lisa (Terry Brown) Losito, as well as his nieces and nephews, including Chad Higgins, Laurie Rienhardt, Nicole and Lindsey Brown, Joe Losito, and several others.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Vito Losito, his brother, Nicholas V. Losito, and his sister, Cheryl A. Tarasenko.
