Wayne J. Orts Jr., 55 of North Syracuse died Thursday. Born in Yonkers, NY he was the son of the late Wayne Orts Sr. Wayne worked for the Salvation Army. He enjoyed boating, his visits at the Casino and enjoyed Cooking.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; five children, Wayne III, Brian, Michael, Ryan and Autumn Orts; mother, Vivian Orts; three brothers, Alan, Kevin and Christopher Orts; several nieces and nephews; and two stepchildren, Noah Gilchrist and Abbey Gilchrist; three step grandchildren, Jayson, Chasity and Caleb.
Services will be Friday, 6PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Calling hours will be Friday from 4-6PM, at the funeral home, before services.
