Warren L. Kassel, 86, of Chittenango, NY, passed away on August 30, 2022. Born November 26, 1935 (Islip Terrace, NY) the son of the late Henry and Mildred (Nadvornik) Kassel. Warren honorably served in the United States Army (Paratrooper; Enewetak Atoll). He retired from Hutchings Psychiatric Center as a NYS Safety Peace Officer. Warren enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, hosting frequent family BBQs and holiday gatherings with humor on display. He is predeceased by his devoted wife (Joan) of 62 years; sister (Blanche) and brother (Henry).
He is survived by two sisters (Sherry and Antoinette); his children: Robert (Leslie) Kassel, James Kassel, Ronald Kassel, Christine (Robert) Repe, and Warren Kassel; 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; and several in-laws, nieces and nephews that will miss him dearly.
A private service will be held at the Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery.
