Wanda Morey, 86, of East Syracuse, New York died Saturday, August 20, 2011 at The Crossings in Minoa, New York.
She retired from Melvin and Melvin Law Firm as a Bookkeeper, and continued to work with Merle Melvin, Esq. Wanda enjoyed time with family and friends and will always be remembered for her holiday dinners. She enjoyed parties and trips to Casinos. She was predeceased by her companion, James Cook, sons, Richard Morey and Kenneth Morey.
Surviving are daughters-in-law, Patty (James) Jackson and Cindy Strouse; grandchildren, Monica (David), James (Becky), Jennifer, Michael and Justin Morey, Anthony Garrison, Shannon (Jon) Lawton, Jason and Jessica Clark; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Tristen and Justice; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will be Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 7:00 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse, New York. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be Tuesday, August 23, 2011 from 4:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home.
