Wanda ÂRosaliaâ Salvagni

Wanda "Rosalia" Salvagni, 95, of North Syracuse, passed away October 31, 2017. Wanda was born at home in Mattydale, NY on August 15, 1922 to the late Joseph and Katherine Childs.
She enjoyed crocheting, watching cowboy stories, always praying and always had a dollar for those who she thought needed it.
She was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Silvio J. Jr. in 1989 and her son, Gerald Salvagni in 2016 as well as several siblings.
She is survived by her Son and devoted caregiver, Silvio "Sam" and Gigi Salvagni; Grandchildren, Kathleen and Tim Lillis, Melanie and John M. Angiolillo and David Salvagni. She is also survived by daughter-in-law, Kathy Salvagni, other grandchildren, Desiree, Danielle, Deanna and Ryan and their families; several great grandchildren, goddaughter, Joanne Childs Sansone and several other nieces and nephews.
A mass will be held per Wanda's wishes on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Liverpool at 10 AM. Burial to follow in Assumption Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Wanda's name to The Samaritan Center, 215 N. State Street, Syracuse, NY 13203.
The family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Mary Daye and Marian for over 30 years of devoted care, being a loving friend and going above and beyond, your support allowed us to keep grandma home for 95 years. We never would have been able to do this without you.
