Walter H. Gannett, 77, of Solvay, passed away Saturday at the VA. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War serving with the Military Police. Walter retired from Crouse Hinds and was a member of their Quarter Century Club. He was a member of Local 2084 and VFW Post 5540.
He is survived by four sisters, Elanor Butler, Mildred Wood, Beverly Thurlow and Laura Landis; three brothers, Frank, Fred, and William.
Graveside services and burial will be in the spring in the Jacksonville Cemetery, Lysander, NY. There will be no Calling Hours.
