Walter F. Neilon/ Jock, 79 of Syracuse, passed away on Sunday at Central Park Rehabilitation Center. He was born on January 6, 1934 in Akwesasne, NY and also served in the US Navy from 1951-54. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his brothers.
Surviving are a daughter Kim Reed, 3 sons; James, Michael & John Neilon, step children; Cherie Walsh, Kenneth, Francis & John White, 8 grandchildren and his former wife, Lucille Miller.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 1-3pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse. A memorial mass will be held on Friday 10am at St. Rose of Lima, North Syracuse.
