Walter Daniul, 89, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Walter was a loving husband and father. He proudly served his country in WW II in the US Air Force. He retired from Ward Baking Co. Walter loved his garden and was an accomplished cook. He will be greatly missed.

Surviving are five sons, Larry (Pat), Gary, Dennis, John (Sue), Robert (Christine), several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother George. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 66 years, Helen and two sons, Alan & Walter, Jr.

Services will be held on Tuesday 10 am at St. Charles of Borromeo Church. Burial will take place at Onondaga County Veteran's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday 4-7 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse. Walter's Family would like to thank the staff at Van Duyn (3North) for their wonderful care.
