Vito L. Recuparo, 85, of N. Syracuse, passed away on Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born March 17, 1927 in Syracuse, son of Cosmo and Angelina Recuparo. Vito served in the US Navy and was last employed at General Motors in Syracuse. Vito loved camping, fishing and the New York Yankees.

Survivors are his wife, Barbara Graveline, 2 sons; Vito, Jr. (Deborah), Daniel (Shirley) Recuparo, daughter, Angelina (Richard) Perioli, 7 grandchildren; Rhonda, Vito III, Anthony, Nicholas, Dominick, Ciji and Aura, along with 11 great grandchildren, a sister, Florence (Ziggy) Dobrowski, brother Louis Recuparo, brother, Cosmo, Jr. (Toni) Recuparo, brothers-in-law, Edward (Mary) Graveline, Gilbert (Yvonne) Graveline. Predeceased by a brother Frederick (Ann) Recuparo and sister-in-law, Bev Recuparo.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-7pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse with services to follow at 7 pm.
Contributions to St. Joseph's Hospital, ICU.
