Virginia E. Shelley, 88, of Syracuse, passed away September 26, 2022.
Virginia was born in Syracuse, New York on April 19, 1934.
Virginia was a matriarch to her entire community, known affectionately as "Nana". An avid dancer, Virginia would regularly enjoy her PBR while spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Eugene Shelley Sr.; and Son, Donald Shelley.
She is survived by her Daughters, Valerie (Steve) Owens, Katherine Shelley, Dawn Shelley, Jennifer Roundy; Sons, Eugene (Christine) Shelley, Raymond Shelley, Michael (Elizabeth) Shelley, Rodney Shelley; As well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 1-4 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, N. Syracuse. A sharing of memories will follow at 4 PM.
