Violet A. (Santy) Osborne

June 8, 1922 — May 31, 2016

Violet A. Osborne, 93, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Oneida Healthcare Center.

Violet was a member of Robinson Memorial Church. Violet was vice president and CFO of Michael F. Santy Const. Co., she was bookkeeper for Berg Diaper Service and WNDR Radio.

She was predeceased by her husband Robert E. Osborne, parents Albert and Minola Goodway, brothers; Lewis, Albert, Frank Goodway and her son, Joseph Santy.

Violet is survived by her sons, Michael (Mary) Santy, Patrick (Penny) Santy, daughter, Suzanne Hess, grandchildren, Ronald Hess, Amy Gladwell, Chrissie Berardi, Mary Kay Santy, Anna Edele, 8 great grandchildren, along with nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday June 25th from 9-11am at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, with services to follow.

Burial will take place at White Chapel Memory Gardens in DeWitt.

On Sunday June 26th there will be a memorial service for Robert and Violet at 10am at Sylvan Beach Union Chapel.
